What the hell is this? An advertisement? Did you actually read the post? This is an issue with an iMac, running Tiger, having issues burning discs for use on an Xbox.

About Deep Burner Pro
File Size: 5.74 MB

OS: Win9x 2000 NT ME XP

Requirements: 128M RAM, 1G free HD space

Why the hell should I care about this piece of software?

frankly speaking, i love this.
DeepBurner comes with an extensive list of useful and valuable features that you'll ever need to fulfill your burning needs. Beginning with compilation of CDs and DVDs in different formats and ending with creation of photo albums and backups.

Actually, the weirdness is that if I write the DVD with different software, it works fine.

And I have read reports of CD-Rs not working, but I've never had any issues with my particular XBox.

Thanks for the info though.

I read somewhere about how the Xbox will only read re-writeable discs. That may only be for CD's, but I'm fairly certain Microsoft did this to deter video game theft. Try using a DVD Re-writeable. It may have to do with the type of DVD you're using too, such as a DVD+RW or a DVD-RW. In either case, I'd check it out.
