And I have read reports of CD-Rs not working, but I've never had any issues with my particular XBox. Thanks for the info though. That may only be for CD's, but I'm fairly certain Microsoft did this to deter video game theft. Try using a DVD Re-writeable. It may have to do with the type of DVD you're using too, such as a DVD+RW or a DVD-RW. In either case, I'd check it out. I read somewhere about how the Xbox will only read re-writeable discs.
