I remember not really wanting to see <em>Cruel Intentions</em>, but when it was on TV, and nothing else was on, I watched it, and I was converted! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Dangerous Liasons. (I love <em>DL,</em> despite Keanu's timid performance...) I've still never seen <em>Cruel Intentions</em> and likely won't go out of my way to, but the book you mention has struck interest. Perhaps I'll wander over to Amazon... :) I must say that I recoiled in horror at the idea of Dangerous Liaisons being remade with a modern (MTV generation style) cast.
