		<description>I am also infinitely frustrated by this, since (like you) my entire music-queing strategy revolved around just dropping stuff I wanted to hear in party shuffle and trusting it to keep vamping a favorite playlist until I decided I had something else I'd specifically like to hear.

One way that i've gotten around this is by using the Quicksilver "Play next in party shuffle" command to add single tracks without having to actually look at iTunes, but then again this only works for one song at a time (or entire albums at a time).</description>
