Well that explains what I've been wondering about. We all apparently, had everlasting life, until..., Adam & Eve sinned. Death and sin didn't exist till then.

So we, and all those that came and suffered after them, have, and are, being punished for "THEIR" sin.

Imagine, for a moment, if you were siezed and thrown into jail with hard labour, simply because your English/Aussie convict ancestor stole a loaf of bread. Or were put on death row because your Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Grandpappy had committed a murder.

Does this sound fair to YOU!!!!

I, and most of you, could not punish those that came after, for the crime/sins of their ancestors. How, if we are capable of such forgiving compassion, can WE be better, more understanding and compassionate than their god???

To top it off, christians ADMIRE and ADORE and PRAISE a god who they believe is capable of this, and has these "attributes"???

There are serial killers out there with more empathy and compassion.

Before anyone says "They are all in the Old Testament", let me add:

As they came to the towns of Bethphage and Bethany, on the Mount of Olives, he sent two disciples ahead. "Go into that village over there," he told them, "and as you enter it, you will see a colt tied there that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks what you are doing, just say, 'The Lord needs it.'" So they went and found the colt, just as Jesus had said. And sure enough, as they were untying it, the owners asked them, "Why are you untying our colt?" And the disciples simply replied, "The Lord needs it." So they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their garments over it for him to ride on. (Luke 19:29-35)

Which clearly indicates that Jesus thinks theft is okay. I don't.
