Reinstalling Windows, Again
Posted lunch time, filed under Asides , Rants and Raves.Here I go, reinstalling WinXP for the umpteenth time this week. I seem to have some corrupted files which prevents me from running all but the most simple of applications. Including IE, and Firefox, btw.
All better now. Dunno what the story was, but a complete reinstall fixed it.

Sometimes a zero-fill of the hard drive and fresh install is all that’s needed to iron out some persisent kinks. Having an up-to-date BIOS and drivers can go a long way to smoother sailing too…
I read lots of complaints about XP, but from the perspective of having used every version of Windows since v1.0, XP is a dream!
