I've actually moved my media server over to a MacOS machine, so I'm fairly happy with AFS at this stage.</description>

		<description>hey. stumbled across your site because i was interested in setting up an afp server on my ubuntu box (to utilize time machine without having to tether to a ext. drive) and saw that you had already given nfs a try.

just a note. nfs might not be working for you because it authenticates through uid. on macs your uid is 501 by default and on the linux box its like 1000 (i think)

just in case you ever reconsidered nfs in the future</description>
