As for the issue, I think it was more to do with the DNS registrar.  However, for some reason, www.planetdomain.com, which I don't own, wasn't appearing under OpenDNS either.  So I wasn't really able to check this.  I had put it down to a missing A entry, but I'm not sure.</description>
