It worked without any hassles for me - as long as you have a compatible card.

Which the TVmini2 isn't, BTW. I returned mine to the store and bought an eyeTV USB Stick.

I tried downloading EyeTV 2.5 and installing but it will not register that a device is plugged in. How did you get it to work?

Thanks

Hi Matt,

Just a quick question about The Tube - I have got a Tubestick and The Tube software but I cannot get it to work properly on Leopard. So my question is do you use Leopard and did you do anything special to get it to work?

Cheers

A couple more hassles. A 2-hour export, which looked like it would take about half of that time, never completed.

Secondly, you can't seem to stop TV viewing while exporting. If you click the close button, then the export quits too.

I'm fairly tempted to take it back to the shop, too, as it doesn't play all of the HD broadcasts properly. No sound on all of them except SBS.

[...] SOME RANDOM DUDE wrote an interesting post today!.Here’s a quick excerpt I lashed out yesterday, and bought something that I’ve been wanting for a while. A USB TV Tuner stick. I went for the miglia TVmini2, as it was (I thought) fairly inexpensive. I’m not sure I made the right decision right now. [...]

Okay, found another issue with the AppleScript support. You can play and pause, but there is no apparent method to get the play state.

That is, how do you know whether to play or pause with the one button if you don't know what is currently happening. I think the same is true for the record mode.
