The Search Hilite plugin doesn’t seem to function under Blogsome. I’m not sure if it used to, but it may be possible to modify the stylesheet, or do something (maybe using JavaScript) to highlight search terms. We can get the referer information, after all, and should be able to process this and make a guess as to if it’s a search engine or not. Similarly, you cannot view Page 2 onwards of a site search: I’ll look into this (and highlighting search terms here too, BTW).

I need to make it so that people can click a link and comment on Asides. At the moment, there is no visible way to view an Aside post page, other than if it appears in the Recent Posts list.

What is the verb for listening to Podcasts? Creating them is called Podcasting, but what about consuming them? Update: Apparently, this is called Podcatching. I do remember hearing this now, just not for a while.

Blogsome has a Smarty Tag called {is_aside}. This is a test of that.

I hate when that happens. The problem I mentioned (OSX Application Startup Issues) is gone. Magically, every application launches fast. And I didn’t actually do anything to fix it.

I like the term Googlebombing. The idea is that a heap of sites link to a certain page, using a certain term, and that page then ranks higher when people search for it on Google. There is one in progress for online poker, so I thought I’d add to it. Hopefully, people will go to this, rather than one of the dodgy places that actually offer online poker…

This March is the 100 year anniversary of Einstein’s Special Theory of Relativity.
